Protecting and Preserving the Ohio River Corridor

Nature Float

John Klein is organizing a 3 mile Nature Float down the Whitewater River to benefit the Western Wildlife Corridor on Sunday, Sept.15th beginning at 10:00 am. The cost is $24.75 +tax which includes your seat in a kayak or canoe, paddle, PFD and bus ride upstream. We plan to return to Green Acres by water by 1:00-1: 30 pm after a few stops on the river.

Bring your own drink and snack. For every paying participant, Green Acres will donate $20 back to WWC! Everyone is welcome! You must be at least 4 years old and weigh at least 40lbs. This is especially a good trip for folks who have not been canoeing or kayaking before. The river level should be low and the trip relaxing and fun!

Green Acres Canoe Rental address is 10465 Suspension Bridge Rd.

Please plan to arrive by 9:45 to get signed in and paid.
If it’s raining, we will likely cancel and not reschedule as the season is winding down, but the extended forecast calls for dry and warm weather. Should be perfect!

Please let John know you plan to be there by email at or text at (513)304-2310.

Hope to see you on the river on the 15th!
