Pollinators are responsible for the reproductive success of plants that bring us 1 out of every 3 bites of food that we eat. These ecosystem supporters are declining worldwide and need you to help by providing food, shelter, and safe places for them in your gardens.
Join Carrie Driehaus with Queen City Pollinator Project to learn more about our amazing pollinators and ways you can help support and protect them, whether you have a big garden space, or just enough room for one flower pot.
Carrie Driehaus, co-founder of Queen City Pollinator Project, has taught various topics to kids and adults of all ages for over 25 years and is delighted to teach pollinator conservation with QCPP. Since QCPP’s start, Carrie has worked with multiple universities on research projects and community science programs. She is passionate about mentorship (high school and college students), Monarch research, community science research, and educating about pollinators’ important role in our ecosystem. When the weather is warm, you’ll find Carrie hanging out with her three kids, taking nature photos, cuddling with her chickens (outside) and her cats (inside), traveling, or spending time in the garden.
